Black Belt Testing Results

A black belt testing was held at the American Martial Arts Institute on Saturday, November 22nd, with two individuals demonstrating the skills and techniques required to achieve the ranks of 1st Degree and 3rd Degree Black Belt. This testing was run and overseen by Grandmaster Crandall with assistance from the Master Instructors.
All candidates completed their written exams one week in advance of the physical testing in order to qualify to participate in the physical testing. The physical segment of their testing spanned for several hours, and while stressful for the participants at times, it was also exciting and instructional. These two individuals’ hard work and training resulted in exceptional presentations of their katas, self-defense, and overall martial arts skills.
Congratulations to these two individuals on the successful completion of their testing and their new ranks!
They will receive their certificates of rank at our next Ceremonial Black Belt Luncheon on April 11, 2026.
