Welcome to our news and archives.  Please note that all test results are posted for the current year, but may not appear in the archives.  Full records are kept at our main office.  In addition, photographs and news releases prior to 1997 are kept in our school library at our main location dating back to the 1960s.

New Online Training and Contest Winner

Our online classes and training continues to grow, with more technique videos posted today, April 1 for all styles. More will be added soon. Our Live Feedback section is still under development and being tested this week, with the hopes of beginning to implement this aspect of training next week. More information will be released soon.

Most of our students have joined us online in our members only section. If you have not, you should do so as soon as possible.

How does this section work?

Students should try to keep to their regular class schedule. For example, if you normally attend class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:15, then on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:15 join us online. Put on your uniform, log into the members only section, click the attendance button (like scanning in), and choose your one-hour class. At this point we have two full one-hour classes to choose from. Don't skip any parts.

If you have done these classes each a couple of times, then we suggest you do the class through kata. At this point, you are in the "second half" of class. Now you have some options, use the technique training videos list in the rank sections to learn and practice self-defense, standing waza, et cetera. Or, do you highest katas for the remaining one-hour class. We are filming more class training and will be posting it in the future. Check back to the members only section regularly because it is where we are posting our announcements and training updates. We are also adding new sections soon.

Congratulations to Eli Davis who won our drawing for the FREE uniform and FREE weapon's class. Our first contest was to submit pictures of yourself training at home, with all who participated being entered into a random drawing. When our physical doors open again, he will receive his prizes. We will be announcing another contest with prizes soon.

Stay safe, healthy, and train,

Headmaster Stalloch
