CLOSING NOTIFICATIONS

What is the American Martial Arts Institute's policy on closing due to weather conditions?

It's that time of year again in Central New York! In an effort to keep you informed and safe, we would like you to know that...

As the New Hartford location's proprietor, Master Stalloch makes this determination. Therefore, if you have questions, please speak with him. In general, we try to remain open as much as possible to allow students the opportunity to train. However, if we have a State, County, or Town emergency declared, or we feel the conditions are unsafe for our instructors and students, we may close. Safety is our primary concern.

Also, please use your discretion in poor weather conditions on nights we are open. Students live in different areas, and the weather can vary drastically. If we are open, but you feel the conditions are unsafe for you to drive, please, stay home. Be Safe!

Click on the Menu option for calendar at the top of the screen.

3) Television:

In addition we contact the major television networks and request that they run our closing. We cannot guarantee they will post it, but they often put it on their websites and run it on their closing list on TV. For example: WKTV.Com

NOTE: We will NOT be able to post a sign on the door or leave a message on the answering machine. Please use the above methods to see if we are closed.
