July and August were busy months for the American Martial Arts Institute. In addition to performing in Italy, the school taught and demonstrated across New York State. Three of these demonstrations focused on the martial arts and the importance of reading. Grandmaster Crandall, assisted by American Martial Arts Institute black belt instructors and students, spoke about the power of the mind and the most important exercise for strengthening the mind, reading.
